JOANNE AND CRIAG, KILCONQUAR CASTLE FIFE 25/04/09

The second of our weddings this weekend saw us travelling to the prestigious Kilconquar Castle in Fife.
This wedding was with a lovely couple Joanne and Craig who we have got to know very well over the past few months, as they came to us for their engagement shoot.
The sun was shining in Fife which was great relief as the forecast was for some rain, but we don't think this would have much difference to the big smiles given by Joanne who was just radiant in her pale gold gown when we arrived to meet her before the ceremony.
The service started a bit late, but even that didn't phase Joanne in the least as she was one of the calmest brides we have ever seen.
When the couple emerged from the ceremony we took the wedding party out to the lawn for the bridal shoot with their families, after which they were led into a magnificent marque for the reception.

The happy couple are now away on a fantastic 3 week honeymoon to Florida.

AUDREY AND TOMMY , COATS MEMORIAL CHURCH

This weekend has turned out be one of the busiest we have had for a while with us having two fabulous weddings, the first was Audrey and Tommys wedding in the the gorgeous old church Coats Memorial in Paisley.
Coats memorial is the oldest church in Paisley founded by Thomas Coats, the beautiful stairs into the church make it the most spectacular entrance a bride could have.
When we arrived 90 mins before the ceremony we were surprised to find the groom and his best man already there looking a little nervous, but the nerves soon disappeared after they sneaked off for a quick pint.
Audrey arrived on time looking lovely to find over 100 wellwishers waiting to see her a make her entrance with her dad.
The service went well after a few hiccups with the vows, but it only added to the occasion with guests having a good laugh, after which the newly married couple emerged to cheers from their guests.
Audrey and Tommy opted to have their bridal photos taken in the grounds of our studio at Finlaystone, and because of the fabulous weather they have been guaranteed with great results.
The wedding reception was later held in the Erskine bridge hotel.

GILLIAN AND IAIN 12TH APRIL 2009

Yesterday was Easter Sunday, and the sun shone on Gillian and Iains wedding day in the prestigious Cameron House Hotel on the banks of Loch Lomond.

Gillian looked fantastic in her Ivory fitted wedding gown , Iain was very dapper in his dinner suit.
The moving ceremony in the drawing room, was highlighted by 2 members of the family playing 2 separate solos, one being a beautiful rendition of I dream a dream from Les Miserables played on the Flute.

After the ceremony all the guests went out onto the lawn for drinks while the photographs were being taken.
The sun continued to shine throughout the day, which made it so much more special.
The happy couple are now away for a luxurious week in Singapore. and will be no doubt at our door to see their fantastic photographs next week.

LAURA AND GREGOR 9th April 2009

Well yesterday was the first wedding of the season and what a great wedding it was. Laura and Gregor had chosen to hold the ceremony in the gorgeous Glasgow University Chapel followed by a reception in the stunning Glenskirlie House.

The day started off pretty wet but as the afternoon progressed it dried up and gave us the opportunity to capture lovely images.

Laura was stunning when she arrived which made our job so much easier, and when entering the church she drew gasps from friends and family.
The happy couple are now away on a secret honeymoon, only Gregor knew where they were going and managed to keep Laura guessing until they got to the airport.
We wish them well...............
