NICOLA & STEPHEN 25TH JULY

On what seemed like the hottest day of the year so far, we had a great wedding in AIRTH CASTLE . Nicola seemed to be the calmest bride we have ever seen in years even though she had 4 bridesmaids 2 flowergirls and a page boy all running around her home, nothing seemed to flap her at all, Stephen also had 3 best men to help keep him calm.

The ceremony went without a hitch and it included the symbolic hand tying used in the film Braveheart, after which the couple emerged from the castle to the sounds of a pipe band, which was a surprise to all the guests. Even to seasoned wedding photographers it still made the hair on the back of our neck stand up it was so emotional.

After the photographs were taken and champagne was served on the lawn, the couple made the now customary walk down from the main hotel with their guests led by the pipes and drums.

This wedding was joy to be a part of, and we wish the happy couple all the best for their exciting honeymoon in the Maldives.

MICHELLE & CRAIG 18TH JULY 2008

We have just home from doing a lovely wedding today in the Sherbrooke Castle Hotel , the couple Michelle and Craig were a dream to work with and kept on smiling even when we got caught in heavy shower of rain while taking the photos in the garden , we have never seen a bride turn and run up a flight of stairs so fast LOL.
Once we got inside and dried off we continued to take photos in and around this lovely old hotel which has many unique features and even managed to get some wonderful shots in the bridal suite and on the hotel stairs.
Michelle and Craig are now going off on a dream Honeymoon to the Dominican Republic .

SARAH JANE & JAMES 12TH JULY 2008

Sarah Jane & James were married in the magnificent location of Paisley Abbey, when the bride arrived she received gasps from the waiting crowds she was so pretty , she was also one of the only brides who arrived 10 mins early, she was clearly eager to become Mrs Mc Knight.

The emotional ceremony on the abbey went without a hitch and after a few photographs were taken in the abbey the couple emerged looking radient, it was hard to stop James grinning ear to ear.

The wedding party then travelled to Ross Hall Park for more photos with their families, where Sarah Jane was helped by 4 gorgeous bridesmaids all dresses in pink .

After the photo shoot the party proceeded to the Normandy for a reception .

The couple are now off on a long awaited relaxing honeymoon in Egypt .......

NIKKI & CHRIS 12TH JULY 2008

Nikki & Chris were married at the Renfrew Parish church after 2 years of planning by Nikki. It was obvious Nikki had her mind made up for every little detail for her big day, as it was just perfect. Chris arrived at the church with the couples adorable little boy Jamie, he was just gorgeous and even smiled on Q [ but he looked for a packet of biscuits for each smile LOL] soon after Nikki arrived looking absolutley fantastic with her 2 bridesmaids.
After the service the bridal party went to Ross Hall park for the photo shoot, and even this worked out in Nikki,s plans as the rain stayed off all day.
After the photo,s were taken in the park it was on to the reception in the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew.

LORRIANE & CRAIG 11TH July 2008

Lorraine & Craig came to us from a long line of recommendations from previous brides so before we met the couple we were aware photography was a priority for them.

The couple chose the wonderful One Devonshire Gardens for their wedding venue so we were sure with a stunning bride like lorraine we had a winning combination for the photographs.

The day started off in a relaxed fashion in the brides home , followed by photographs at Craigs home which included the couples pet cat Cloe , we then progressed to One Devonshire Gardens for the emotional ceremony which included a lovely poem written for the couple by the brides sister Alison.

When the ceremony was over, the bridal party proceeded to the Glasgow Art Galleries for the photo shoot, and considering the gallery was busy with tourists we managed to get stunning photographs of the happy couple and their families.

Lorraine and Craig are now packing for their romantic honeymoon in Italy.

Patrick & Carol July 10th 2008

On the morning of Patrick and Carols wedding there was grey skys and pouring rain, but that didn,t dampen their big day at the Watermill Hotel In Paisley.

We arrived at Carols home to find her beamimg from ear to ear, she was running around giving orders to everyone, until we managed to get her upstairs to get into her gorgeous gown.

When carol came down the stairs everyone gasped ,she was so lovely and as the 7 bridesmaids had not seen her gown until then everyone was just amazed at how lovely she was.

The service at the Watermill started a little late, but again this did not show on Carol and Patricks face , it was just perfect .....

After the ceremony the bridal Party went over to the grounds of the lovely Paisley Abbey for the photos, as although the rain had finally dried up, it was too risky to go to the park.

The photographs however are fantastic, but this is due to the great models ......

CLAIRE AND ALAN 5TH JULY 2008

Claire and Alan were married on 5th of July in St John Bosco church in Erskine, on what started off to be a very miserable wet windy day, however the weather had no effect on Claire. We arrived to find Claire beaming from ear to ear she just smiled at everything, even when the cars were a little late arriving to take her and her bridesmaids to the service.

Once the service started Claire and Alan sat together on the altar looking nervous while waiting to say their vows, but didn,t have anything to worry about as they went without a hitch.

After the ceremony the rain continued to pour down, but as the drive to their reception in the Brig O Doon in Ayrshire was over an hour away we were hopeful the rain would stop.

When we arrived, as if like magic the sun came out and everything was perfect for the couple to enjoy their photograph session with their friends and family.

Claire and Alan are now off in a long awaited relaxing honeymoon to the fantastic location of Dubai .

CAROL AND IAN 14TH MAY 2008

Carol and Ian were recently married in the stunning location of Dunkeld Cathedral . We arrived early to find the bride and her bridesmaids relaxing with their champagne in their room , but soon time started to run away, however they still managed to get ready on time and were only a little late for the church.

The weather was glorious , if not a little too sunny for the photograph session, but this was sorted by going into the stunning ruins of the church.

After the photographs were finished at the church we then went onto the fabulous Huntingtower Hotel in Perth for the reception.

After a great evening with their guests the couple flew off for a romantic honeymoon in Florida.
