TRACEY & JEREMY 30TH AUG 2008

Our lastest couple came over from Dublin to get married in the Dalmeny park Hotel in Barrhead . Originally from Glasgow, Tracey moved to be with Dublin born Jeremy . Their wedding went well apart from the bride being a little late , oh and one of the groomsmen having to turn up with a pair of jeans on instead of a kilt due to mix up with the kilt sizes.

The ceremony had a lovely symbolic lighting of 2 candles in memory of Traceys parents , this made the vows even more emotional to every one there .

After the ceremony the wedding party moved on to the lawn for the wedding photos , and the rain managed to stay off long enough to complete them there.

The couple are off tomorrow on a exciting honeymoon to Australia .

PAUL & DONNA 29TH AUG 2008

Well today we have a lovely wedding in Luss Parish church in Loch Lomond. The last time we were there it poured for most of the day,but today the weather was just perfect for Paul and Donna.

The day started of at Donnas home with her mum,dad and bridesmaid Laura , Donna was one of the calmest brides we have ever had , which was great because her dad Gordon was like a whirlwind going around the house it was hard keeping him at peace.........

Donna entered the church to the sounds of a string quartet ,which was not only lovely but very unusual. After the ceremony the couple emerged looking happy and relaxed to go down to the beach for the start of their photoshoot .

Paul and Donna held their reception in the gorgeous venue of Ross Priory in Gartocharn where more of their stunning photos were taken .

Now the couple are off on a fantastic honeymoon to the Maldives .

LAUREN , BRYAN & ELLIOT

last week we had the pleasure of photographing a lovely little boy called Elliot , who parents we photographed at their wedding last year .

Lauren was one of our favourite brides with her photo adorning our studio wall for many months . Now they are a little family, soon they will find some of their photographs on our new website which will be ready in the next few weeks.

JOANNE & RICHARD 23RD AUG 2008

Well for once we had a completely dry day when Joanne and Richard were married in the Kilbarchan West church.

When we arrived it was like meeting up with an ex brides group as we met 4 couples photographed by us in the past , including Joannes aunt and uncle who were married 12 years ago which Joanne was a sweet fresh faced flower girl at, [ my she has changed LOL].

The service went without a hitch even though Joanne was a little late. After the ceremony the wedding party went to the lovely Ross Hall Park for their formal photographs, during which we all had a bit of a laugh when Richard flashed a little more than he should have during the photos making the bridesmaids shriek with laughter .

After the formals the wedding party made their way back to the Normandy Hotel in Renfrew which was very strange for us , as this was the first wedding we have done there since we moved out of our office there last month .

Joanne & Richard are going on Honeymoon later, so I expect they will be calling soon to see their stunning photos.

DUNCAN & DEBRA ANN 15TH AUG 2008

Duncan & Debra Ann recently held their wedding on the picturesque village of Drymen at Loch Lomond.

The wedding was arranged to take place in the gorgeous outside grounds of the Buchanan Arms , but as luck would have it, the weather changed from a lovely sunny day to a grey rainy one just shortly before Debra Ann made her grand entrance.

This setback however did not dampen the couples day, they both continue to laugh [ and cry] through their emotional ceremony .

After the signing of the registar the sun returned and stayed out just long enough for the photos to be taken in the lovely gardens facing the hotel.

Duncan & Debra Ann are now away on cruise and we look forward to their return soon.

DIANNE & FRANCIS 9th AUG 2008

The wedding of Dianne & Francis started off with one of the wettest days of the year, but that didn't stop the beaming grins from the couple when they arrived at St James Church Renfrew .

The service went without a hitch , and when the couple emerged from the church the rain had dried up enough for the wedding party to go to Pollok House for some more photographs.

We did have a laugh when Duncan [photographer]went down to take a photo of the couple on the bridge only to see the couple dissapear when they ran away from a swarm of bees, leaving him looking at an empty bridge .

After some photos were taken the bridal party then went on to Sherbrooke Castle to meet the rest of the guests and have a few more photo's taken on their famous stairs.

All in all we had a great day and we look forward to meeting Dianne & Francis when they return from their honeymoon in Madeira to show then their lovely photographs.

FIRST PORTRAIT IN OUR NEW STUDIO

After many months of nagging, our daughter Vicki finally got us to take some photos of her for her bebo page [ you know what its like, a plumber wont work in his own house, as a photographer will not take photos of his/her own family LOL]

Anyway Vicki came into the new studio armed with around 10 changes of clothes, but as the weather was so nice we decided to use the grounds of Finlaystone instead .

I am sure you will agree the grounds are lovely [ Vicki is not bad either LOL]

For anyone wishing a portrait taken give us a call on 01475 54 0000
